Russel R. Heiser II
President & Founder
Russel R. Heiser II, or Rob as most call him, has been involved in the web industry for over 15 years. From 2001 to 2003, Russel worked as Vice President of Information Technology at SupplierInsight, Inc., an application service provider located in Cleveland, Ohio. While working at SupplierInsight, he was lead architect and director of application development, which included guiding production of the company's flagship application. This software was responsible for 50 percent of the company’s revenue and was expected to grow 80 percent over the next three years, until the company was sold to Procuri.
Prior to SupplierInsight, Russel was lead developer of an online payment authorization module for a large European sales and marketing promotion system that generated up to 5,000 sales inquiries and 2,000 orders a day. He was also the co-developer of a customer registration module; a lead developer in the implementation of Avaya WebCenter (eContact Suite); and designer of a Linux-based network firewall implemented in four locations in the United States, Europe and South America. Russel was one of the first five employees hired at XtraSource, which grew to more than 2,500 employees worldwide during his tenure.
Rob graduated from Kent State University with a BA degree in Management and Information Systems. When he’s not working on the web, you can find Rob cheering on his favorite team at the Cavs games.
