Fifty50 was founded by three people who had a common connection: diabetes. One founder had diabetes. One founder was a diabetes educator. And, one founder was a volunteer raising money for diabetes research. Today, their products are not only for people with diabetes, but many have found the benefits of adopting a diet comprised of foods that are low on the Glycemic Index (GI). Fifty50 Foods donates 50% of their profits to diabetes research.
WiredViews partnered with Fifty50 Foods in 2016 to build an ecommerce website that would connect to its new distribution center. WiredViews also ran SEO for several years reaching traffic numbers that were 5X the expected goals. After a rebrand and a switch to Amazon, WiredViews pivoted with Fifty50 to redesign the site and connect it to Amazon as well as taking over Social Media to drive traffic to sales. 2020 was Fifty50's most profitable year to date.
When the original website went live in 2017, WiredViews gave it a great foundation for search engine optimization (SEO), making sure all URLs, H1s, metadata and text followed best practices and were fine-tuned over time as Google adjusted its algorithms. Google's algorithms in late 2019 and into 2020 completely changed the rules for diet foods and the language around dieting. Fifty50 Foods took a dramatic hit, but due to the foundational work WiredViews established and the optimized content we added over time we have seen a speedy recovery to numbers that are beginning to exceed even these metrics.
